Holmes Murphy has welcomed Kenton Miles to its expanding team in Denver as a client executive within the construction division.

With a wealth of experience advising a diverse client base in the commercial construction and insurance industry, Miles will be integral in developing new and existing relationships for the brokerage.

Miles brings over two decades of industry expertise, having previously served as senior vice president at Moody Insurance Agency. In this role, he specialized in advising middle market companies focusing on construction, real estate development, and oil and gas.

The development also aims to further strengthen the capabilities of the Holmes Murphy team in Denver, particularly through Holmes Murphy Construction.

“Kenton is an experienced construction producer with a proven track record of success. We are thrilled he chose to join Holmes Murphy’s growing construction practice,” said Dan Etzel, Holmes Murphy VP and construction team leader for property-casualty.

“Holmes Murphy is constantly crafting new ways to bring the greatest possible competitive advantages to our clients and insurance carrier partners. The impressive success of Holmes Murphy Construction, along with the incredible talent we are adding to the team with people like Kenton, are just a couple of the exciting ways we are adding to this value,” Etzel said.

Miles’ addition follows another high-profile appointment for the broker, with Holmes Murphy recently also bringing in Tim Anders as its new president of programs.
