McGriff veteran rejoins construction practice

McGriff has announced that Robert Plummer (pictured above) has rejoined its national construction practice as senior vice president and senior marketing construction account executive.

Plummer, who spent 19 years with McGriff as a risk management expert for large construction clients, is returning to the company after a short time away. He holds a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia.

“Robert is an expert in the needs of the large, loss-sensitive construction client,” said Steve Davis, McGriff construction practice leader. “He is client-focused with a very technical market approach and equipped with keen insight into the overall construction environment. His leadership will benefit not only our clients, but our younger account executives as well.”

The McGriff Construction Risk Services practice is focused on serving the risk management and surety needs of regional, national and global companies across a spectrum of construction and contracting sectors, including engineering, infrastructure services, pipeline/utility, government contracting and heavy industrial.
