BOXX Insurance has announced three new appointments to support its growth strategy in the US.

Erik Tifft has been named head of products, where he will lead the development of the company’s all-in-one cyber insurance solutions and new financial lines products.

With nearly 20 years of experience in underwriting, insurance products, and cyber risk, Tifft is set to advance BOXX's mission by introducing innovative insurance solutions for businesses and consumers in North America.

Jim Miller and Gil Cujcuj have also been appointed as distribution leaders for the East and West regions, respectively. They will focus on expanding BOXX’s partnerships with distribution networks and increasing the brand’s presence in the US.

Miller brings extensive experience in customer and distribution management from both the broker and carrier sides, having worked at Beazley and Apogee.

Cujcuj, with a background in the insurance and cyber industries since 2010, was most recently the cyber lead at HDI. His experience includes underwriting, distribution and program management roles at NAS Insurance Services, Tokio Marine and Beazley.

Yoast, who was appointed to the position last year, also said that the new appointments are key to BOXX’s ongoing strategy.

"As BOXX aims to advance our mission of creating a digitally safer world, refining our product lines and investing in our platform and operations is the natural next step,” she added. “Erik's underwriting and product experience along with Jim and Gil's deep connections across the industry will be invaluable in achieving this."

Meanwhile, Tifft shared his enthusiasm for the role, saying, “As digital and cyber risks continue to change, risk management needs to keep up.”
