ProWriters Insurance Services has revealed that it has added two more cyber insurance companies –MGA CFC Underwriting and insurtech At-Bay – to its proprietary Cyber IQ platform.
The Cyber IQ platform, launched last November, allows brokers and agents to immediately compare quotes from multiple stand-alone cyber insurance carriers. It was launched in partnership with Axis, Chubb, Hiscox, and NAS Insurance Services – which is now a Tokio Marine company.
“We are very happy to be adding a company like CFC to our Cyber IQ platform. Based on their industry knowledge, leading coverage, and claims capabilities we know our agents and their clients are getting another leading carrier for their cyber insurance needs,” said ProWriters CEO Brian Thornton.
Thornton also talked up the addition of At-Bay. The insurtech – which writes on Hartford Steam Boiler paper and is a part of Munich Re – has a unique approach to underwriting. As part of its process, At-Bay scans the client company’s website, then provides the client with feedback regarding their security posture and monitoring throughout the policy period.
“We are pleased to be joining ProWriters’ Cyber IQ platform as well as bringing our innovative underwriting approach to their brokers,” commented At-Bay head of insurance Brett Sadoff.
In addition to the two new carriers, ProWriters has also added several new features to the Cyber IQ platform as part of an update:
- A dynamic quote comparison document provided with each submission.
- White labeled versions of the Cyber IQ portal, allowing retail brokers to offer their clients multiple cyber quotes from their own website.
- Bulk quoting functionality, allowing brokers to upload renewal lists for ProWriters to quote all their renewals.
