Resilience Cyber Insurance Solutions, a provider of comprehensive insurance and cybersecurity services for middle-market businesses, has announced the appointment of Eduard Alpin as chief actuary.

Prior to joining Resilience, Alpin (pictured above) served as director of cyber solutions at Verisk Analytics. In that position, he led the company’s ISO Cyber Rating Plan and launched the Cyber Data Exchange, a first-of-its-kind global data-sharing platform. He has also held roles at AIG and Zurich Insurance Group.

Through his career, Alpin has developed pricing models, filed rating plans, and conducted profitability reviews for several lines including cyber, D&O, E&O, crime, and A&H.

“As we continue on a path of profitable growth, we’re elated that Eduard will be joining Resilience as chief actuary,” said Mario Vitale, CEO of Resilience. “He brings a high level of knowledge and experience to the cyber space and will be a key asset in delivering effective solutions to our customers.”
