Gallagher has announced the promotion of Steve Kluting, Esq. to national director of product recall, under the company’s food & agribusiness practice group.
Kluting is a “food lawyer” with 18 years of experience, and he has been helping Gallagher’s food, beverage and restaurant clients with their food safety concerns – which include product recalls and government enforcement actions. A release also said that he manages the negotiation, structuring and placement of product recall insurance coverage and that he is a certified hazard analysis and critical control point manager.
Prior to joining Gallagher in 2014, Kluting spent over 13 years with a large corporate law firm. At the firm, he served for a number of years as co-chair of the food industry practice. He also has experience working as a chief strategy officer for a family-owned food wholesaler and retailer.
