Global broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has announced that it has acquired Rosenzweig Insurance Agency, a full-service broker based in Mineola, N.Y. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Rosenzweig Insurance Agency has special expertise in the pharmacy segment, and serves small and medium-sized businesses and individuals throughout the country.

As part of the acquisition, Larry Rosenzweig, Lynn Rosenzweig Derby and their team will remain at their current location. They will operate as part of Gallagher Agency Alliance and will report to Jen Tadin, managing director of Gallagher’s Global Small Business practice.

“Rosenzweig Insurance Agency has a long history of client-focused service and will enhance our capabilities in the small business space,” said J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., chairman, president and CEO of Gallagher. “I am delighted to welcome Larry, Lynn and their associates to Gallagher.”

Rosenzweig Insurance Agency is the latest in a string of acquisitions for Gallagher. Last week, the company announced that it had acquired Michigan-based Meadowbrook Insurance Agency and Washington, D.C.-based Clements Worldwide.
