Inszone Insurance Services has acquired High Desert Insurance and Group, LLC, an independent insurance agency based in Bend, Ore.
The deal expands Inszone’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and adds to its portfolio of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance solutions.
High Desert Insurance, established in 2002 by Jeff Melville, has served Central Oregon with a range of insurance products, including auto, home, health, life, and business coverage. The agency is known locally as High Desert Insurance and Financial Services.
Melville said the decision to join Inszone was motivated by the need for growth and broader market access.
As a small business looking to expand, we knew we needed to be part of a larger organization,” Melville said. He noted that after discussions with several companies, Inszone stood out as the right partner.
“From my first conversations with the team, it was clear this partnership would work well,” he said.
Clients of High Desert Insurance will continue to work with their existing representatives. The transition will provide access to Inszone’s expanded carrier network and national resources, according to both companies.
In recent months, Inszone has continued to pursue a national expansion strategy, entering new markets and broadening its product offerings. The company recently entered the Montana market through the acquisition of Rocky Mountain Insurance Group, LLC, a benefits-focused agency that has operated in the region for nearly two decades.
The company’s acquisition activity has also included the purchase of Beasy Insurance Services, a California-based agency specializing in personal lines. This acquisition, completed in July, was part of Inszone’s strategy to enhance its capabilities and reinforce its presence in key states.
In June, Inszone further strengthened its position in the Pacific Northwest by acquiring Eagle Harbor Insurance, an established agency based in Bainbridge Island, Washington.
