Inszone Insurance Services continues M&A spree

Mergers & Acquisitions

By Terry Gangcuangco

Inszone Insurance Services doesn’t appear to be slowing down with its acquisitions.

The Sacramento-headquartered insurance provider, which last week announced its swoop for Truman Van Dyke Company, has now acquired Financial Arts Inc. and Lambert & Lambert Insurance Services.

Entry into Indiana

Financial Arts Inc. becoming part of Inszone means the latter’s entry into the Indiana market and the group’s expansion into its 15th state.

Dan Fagen of Financial Arts Inc. commented in a release: “Inszone’s move into the Midwest, with a hub for benefits conveniently located in the Chicago area, aligned perfectly with our strategic goals.

“What impressed me even more was the local presence they maintained. I had the chance to connect with a recently acquired agency in a neighboring state, and the fact that I was greeted by someone from that location spoke volumes about Inszone’s commitment to keeping things local.”

Financial Arts Inc. has been in business since 1974.

Northern California expansion

Inszone’s other acquisition this week is Lambert & Lambert Insurance Services in Portola.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lambert & Lambert Insurance Services, another outstanding California agency, into our fold,” Inszone chief executive Chris Walters said in a separate announcement.

“Their enduring dedication to customer service and community involvement aligns seamlessly with our values. This acquisition not only broadens our presence in Northern California but also underscores our commitment to local communities.”

Set up in 1953, Lambert & Lambert Insurance Services will continue to operate in Portola under the Inszone brand.

Previous owner Kirk Lambert stated: “We are excited about the opportunities this partnership brings to both our agency and our clients. We were determined to find a partner who shares our values and could offer us access to additional carriers, robust back-office support, and top-notch IT management.

“We’re excited about the support that’s coming our way and the positive impact it will have on our ability to continue serving our customers with the excellence they’ve come to expect.”

Inszone has around 60 locations across the US.
