Applied Systems presented its annual Pinnacle Awards at Applied Net 2026 in Washington, D.C., recognizing five agencies, brokerages, and carriers for their use of Applied's software platforms. The five winners are Inszone Insurance Services, Integra Insurance Services, The McClone Agency, OTIP/RAEO Insurance Brokers, and Travelers.
Travelers, which generated nearly $49 billion in revenue in 2025, is the standout on the carrier side. It is recognized as the first anchor carrier partner in Applied System's submissionless commercial insurance experience, powered by Cytora. Announced in July, the capability lets Travelers deliver renewal quotes directly inside Applied Epic before an agency begins remarketing. Agents receive a renewal option from the carrier before they start shopping. That removes a manual step from the workflow and gives Travelers earlier visibility into renewal portfolios.
Travelers' Pinnacle recognition reflects a commitment that extends beyond the initial July announcement. As the first anchor carrier, its participation shapes which lines of business the capability expands to and how the model develops, which matters for any broker evaluating whether to rely on the workflow for commercial renewals.
Among the agency winners, Inszone Insurance Services stands out for its acquisitive growth model. The Sacramento, California-based brokerage has made more than 40 acquisitions since its founding in 2002. It uses Applied Epic as the integration backbone for onboarding acquired agencies and has served as a design partner for automated remarketing inside the platform, with a seat inside the product development process rather than simply at the receiving end.
Integra Insurance Services, based in East Texas, has run on EZLynx for nearly 20 years across 159 network locations.
The McClone Agency, a Wisconsin-based risk management provider founded in 1949, became a founding design partner for Epic Agents and has contributed to book-of-business insights and search capabilities.
OTIP/RAEO Insurance Brokers, a not-for-profit provider serving Ontario's education community, used Applied Epic to launch member self-service capabilities and complete a browser-based platform rollout. The company said the changes produced six-figure operational savings.
Graham Blackwell, who assumed the CEO role at Applied Systems ahead of Applied Net 2026, said the winners reflect the company's direction.
