RT Specialty has announced that it has “adopted a wish” in conjunction with the Los Angeles chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

RT Specialty raised funds through charitable donations for Lylah, a 12-year-old girl currently in remission from leukemia. The effort was spearheaded by Vivian Woodcock, president of RT Workers’ Compensation.

The funds will be used to send Lylah and her family on an all-inclusive Hawaiian vacation, RT Specialty said.

RT Specialty employees held an event at the company’s downtown Los Angeles office to reveal to Lylah that her wish would finally be granted after having been delayed due to the pandemic.

RT Specialty recently launched a workers’ compensation program aimed at restoration contractors. Earlier this month, parent company Ryan Specialty announced that it would acquire Texas-based Point6 Healthcare.
