National practice leader of the Construction Centre of Excellence for RSA Canada, Steve has been with RSA for 16 years. Starting as a junior construction underwriter, Steve quickly found his niche, specializing in project construction, contracting, and renewable energy. With a strong focus on broker service and subject expertise, Steve became a leader in construction underwriting, often acting as a keynote speaker at construction and renewable energy events. 

2020 brought Steve the opportunity to lead the RSA Construction Centre of Excellence, a newly developed proposition designed to solidify RSA as a construction market leader. Working with RSA's regional teams, the Centre of Excellence crafted a national approach to support our regional and national broker partners. Through knowledge, expertise, solution-oriented thinking - as well as a lot of hard work - the RSA Centre of Excellence has become a first choice for broker partners. 

As a long time Hamiltonian and season ticket holder, you may see Steve at Tim Horton’s field catching a Hamilton Tiger-Cats game or out front on the Skyway Bridge fishing in Lake Ontario.
