Karen is the Senior Vice President, Product and Innovation for Premier, responsible for the commercial and personal lines divisions, and collaborating with the Premier team of experts to deliver innovative solutions for Premier’s partners and their customers.

As an experienced professional with over 25 years insurance expertise in the Canadian MGU and insurance company marketplace, she has strived to maximize operational excellence. She has previously held the position of Vice President Operations for a startup managing general underwriter and Vice President Pricing and Corporate Underwriting for a Western Canada based insurer, prior to joining the Premier team in 2020.

Karen has a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Allison University, and holds her CIP, CAIB, AIRC and ARM insurance and risk management designations.
