April showers may bring May flowers, but April will also bring the best the broker channel has to offer, as celebrations for Insurance Broker Month begin to ramp up.

In Nova Scotia, the celebrations will begin with the 7th Annual Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia Graduation and Awards Night on April 2 – of which Archway Insurance will be there with three nominations.

“Archway is extremely proud of our two employees that are nominated for awards, and our four employees preparing for graduation,” says Gina McFetridge, regional manager for Archway. “We are also thrilled to be nominated as Brokerage of the Year ourselves!”

As part of IBANS gala, four Archway employees will graduate with their Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designations.

Those up for awards from Archway include Yarmouth’s Jane Durkee, who is nominated for the Client Service Award; and Regional Commercial Manager Sarah MacKinnon, based at Archway Insurance – SNC, who is nominated for Young Broker of the Year.

Archway itself is nominated for Brokerage of the Year. (continued.)

“Win or lose the awards, Archway has already succeeded in attracting, educating, and retaining high quality insurance professionals to our brokerage,” says McFetridge. “There has never been a better time to talk to a broker and we’re looking forward to celebrating with our employees during Insurance Broker Month.”

Insurance Business magazine will be featuring the Top 10 Brokerages in Canada in the upcoming May issue. To enter, click here.
