Aurora Underwriting Services has completed its acquisition of a10K Incorporated – and with the acquisition, the managing general agent (MGA) has rebranded itself as Aurora Underwriting Solutions.
Along with the name change and switch of ownership, Aurora Underwriting Solutions also unveiled several other major changes: the company’s new leadership, new underwriters, expanded product offerings, and increased internal underwriting capabilities and capacities.
Under the leadership of Brian Morison, Aurora Underwriting Solutions’ new underwriting team includes underwriters Leah Cassidy and Rob Woolvett, as well as underwriting assistants Arden Baboth, Clarissa Long, John Matheson, and Svitlana Okhota. They are joined by the branch manager of the company’s Edmonton office, Shirley Dumbleton.

We look forward to working closely with each of you to help provide the best insurance solutions for your clients.”
The company’s underwriting team serves the agriculture, construction & contracting, transportation, hospitality, and manufacturing industries. Product lines being supported include cyber liability, auto physical damage, cargo, and buydown; commercial property; liability & casualty; and professional indemnity.
