Billyard Insurance Group (BIG) has opened a new branch in Sarnia, Ontario, bringing its total number of branches to 84 nationwide.

BIG’s new branch is in First Sarnia Place at 201 Front Street North. It will offer a wide range of insurance services tailored for individuals, families, and businesses in the area.

The Sarnia office will be spearheaded by managing partners Ainsley McHenry and Kirstie Feddes, who bring over a decade of combined industry experience. The two have also worked together in previous roles.

“Kirstie and I talked about starting a brokerage for years, and it became obvious after our first conversation with BIG that it was the company for us,” said McHenry.

“The service model fits perfectly with how we want to do business, and we knew right away that our Sarnia office would be a success. We are beyond excited and proud to bring BIG to Sarnia, where we can provide the kind of local and personalized service, we take pride in.”

“Starting our own brokerage has been a goal since Ainsley and I met,” added Feddes.

“We wanted to start something that Sarnia could be proud of, and we knew that bringing BIG to Sarnia would accomplish just that. BIG aligns with our goals to bring old-school customer service and relationship building back to the insurance industry, putting the client first.”

“We are thrilled to set roots in yet another community and expand our footprint within Ontario,” said Jennifer Smith, director of business development at BIG.

“Ainsley and Kirstie bring a wealth of experience and knowledge with them, and we are confident that their team will provide the highest level of service and support to their clients.”

BIG opened three other Greater Toronto Area branches earlier this year. These offices are located in Markham East, Port Credit, and Eglinton Square.
