With the intent of strengthening its regional expertise, ClaimsPro has acquired New West Adjusters (NWA) in Alberta.

NWA is an independent adjusting firm that has been offering claims services to the insurance industry in Alberta since 2004. Locally owned and operated, NWA has developed a solid reputation across the province as a “reliable and trusted organization,” a release said.

“The addition of NWA will not only position ClaimsPro as an expanded presence in Western Canada, but it will also complement and enrich our existing service offering with the addition of highly experienced and knowledgeable staff,” said ClaimsPro president Lorri Frederick.

“We are looking forward to partnering with the NWA team,” said ClaimsPro vice-president of Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan Luke Smith. “They are a well-established organization with a regional focus and expertise that, when coupled with ClaimsPro’s industry leading technology platform, will allow us to provide an enhanced suite of products and services to our clients.”

“We are excited about joining forces with the industry leader, ClaimsPro,” added NWA managing partner Rick Dykhuizen. “Working together, we will increase our collective capability and provide our clients with the best possible support to address all of their needs.”

ClaimsPro recently appointed a new director of insurance management services, whose job includes the strengthening of existing relationships with the company’s key insurer clients.
