Collage Technologies Inc. announced yesterday that it has launched its new HR and benefits platform for Canadian businesses.

The cloud-based software application can help businesses by automating some of the administration work involved with HR, group benefits, and payroll administration. The platform makes it easier to onboard new employees, accomplish tax forms, sign and store employment documents electronically, set up and track time off policies, enroll employees in benefits, and so on.

"Our mission at Collage is to help Canadian businesses to take care of their people," said Collage co-founder and CEO Elijah Moore. "Most small and medium businesses in Canada still manage their HR with paper and spreadsheets, and more than 50% of these businesses still don't offer health benefits to their employees. Our free platform makes it possible for all businesses to offer an amazing employment and benefits experience for their team."

"As someone who has spent his career as a group benefits advisor and broker, I am extremely excited to be launching Collage," added Collage co-founder Peter Demangos, MBA, CFP, CLU. "Our technology platform supercharges our ability to offer amazing employee benefits advice and service to our clients."

The platform will be made available to businesses at no cost. Collage earns money through commissions paid by insurance companies when customers use the Collage platform to manage their benefits plan.
