First Onsite Property Restoration has acquired Maxons Restorations, a Manhattan-based emergency response and restoration services provider.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to First Onsite, the deal is part of its growth strategy to further expand the company’s geographic reach and services in the US – particularly in the Tri-State areas of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Founded in 1990, Maxons boasts an extensive customer base. The company has received several industry awards, including Inc. 500, Inc. 5000 and Inc.’s Great Places to Work.

“We’re very excited about the Maxons team joining First Onsite. This team brings decades of experience while allowing us to provide additional capacity to our existing clients in New York and New Jersey,” said First Onsite US CEO Stacy Mazur.

Mazur added that having the “high-performing” crew at Maxons join First Onsite creates “exceptional opportunities” for the company’s team members and clients.

“Our team has a well-earned reputation for successfully operating in one of the most complex and challenging markets in the world. We strive to see our team grow and advance in their careers and to scale our positive impact in the communities we serve,” said Maxons Restorations chairman & CEO Damon Gersh. “By partnering with First Onsite, we can provide even greater opportunities for our team’s development in addition to having the support and resources to better serve our clients within our market and beyond.”

Presently, First Onsite is the second-largest independent North American restoration and reconstruction services provider for commercial enterprises. The firm operates from over 80 locations across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
