Global insurance brokerage, Hub International Limited (Hub), has today announced the acquisition of Del Fisher Insurance Inc., an independent insurance broker based in Calgary, Alberta.
Del Fisher has been providing personal and commercial insurance solutions, including home, auto, business and contract bonding in the Calgary area since 1981. To do so, it works with some of the largest insurance companies in Canada.
Following the deal, Del Fisher office manager/partner Jeff Alderman will join Hub International Barton Limited and will become a member of the Prairie Arctic leadership team. Both John Dewit, president/partner, and L.M. Santiago, vice president/partner, have announced their retirements and will not be joining Hub.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
