Now on its second year, the Dive In insurance festival is looking to hold events across the UK and internationally this September, with a theme on diversity and inclusion in the insurance sector.

The Dive In event was the brainchild of Inclusion@Lloyd’s Group—a joint initiative between the Corporation of Lloyd’s and the Lloyd’s Market Association. The group governs diversity and inclusion strategy and encourages best practice for the greater Lloyd’s market.

For this year, the organisers plan to hold events beyond the UK in countries like Australia, Bermuda, Canada, China, France, Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States.

Aside from diversity, the secondary themes for this year’s Dive In are multi- generational workplaces, as well as families and carers.

A number of guest speakers have been invited for the event, such as sports presenter, Claire Balding; Gok Wan, TV presenter; Charlotte Sweeney, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant; Inga Beale, CEO, Lloyd’s; Tamara Box, Global Chair, Financial Industry Group at Reed Smith; and Tim Hollingsworth, CEO British Paralympics Association, among others.

The event’s organisers are welcoming volunteers who could help develop content for the event and lend a hand in managing the activities slated.
