With the nominations deadline coming up on Friday, March 18, the judges for the Insurance Business Canada Elite Women 2022 showcase have been revealed.

The judging panel includes:

  • Vinita Jajware Beatty, president at Toronto Insurance Women’s Association
  • Shirley Chisholm, vice president financial institutions & professional services practice – Marsh at Ebony Women International Insurance Network (EWIN) / Marsh Canada
  • Nicole Sinclair, advisor to the president & CEO at the Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan
  • Terry Dodsworth, president, TIC and 2021-2022 board of directors, IBAC and senior vice president and director - SWO Broking Centre, AON, at Toronto Insurance Council (TIC)
  • Peter Braid, CEO at the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada

Readers and colleagues are invited to submit their nominations for this list of inspiring women via this online form. Participation is open to all women in the Canadian insurance industry. Nominations from or on behalf of women from diverse backgrounds are particularly encouraged.

Inclusion in this annual ranking provides a wealth of opportunity for individuals looking to build their profile. Winners will also gain access to exclusive marketing and promotional opportunities designed to amplify their achievement across multiple channels.  

The Elite Women 2022 report, proudly supported by the Toronto Insurance Women’s Association (TIWA), the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC), the Ebony Women International Insurance Network (EWIIN), the Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS), and the Toronto Insurance Council (TIC), will be selected with the assistance of an independent advisory panel, and will be featured in June on Insurance Business Canada’s website and e-newsletter.
