Canadian insurer Guarantee Gold has picked up two gongs at the International Business Awards, a twin killing for its sales marketing.
The insurer, which targets high net worth customers, won the two awards on the back of a “customer success video” entitled “When fire strikes a historic home, every detail matters” - it picked up the bronze awards for the public relations and sales categories.
The 2017 International Business Awards (IBAs) received entries from more than 60 nations and territories. A total of more than 3,900 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry globally were submitted for consideration in a broad range of categories.

Marilyn Horrick, national vice president, said earning “not one, but two” awards was “an embarrassment of riches and altogether a worthy nod to our staff, who strive every day to deliver excellence for their customers.”
And, though the insurer was rewarded for internal marketing efforts, Horrick was also quick to make clear the awards couldn’t happen without the backing of the company’s broker partners.
“We are extremely proud of these awards and believe wholeheartedly that no point of recognition or award bestowed on us can be claimed without sharing it equally with our broker partners,” she said. “The long term partnership we share with our brokers is the cornerstone of our overall customer service philosophy
