Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Andrew Jackson as global head of business development and market management.

Jackson succeeds Mark Stephenson, former head of business development and market relationships.

Jackson will join the LSM executive team and will report to Phil Hobbs, president and managing director of LSM.

In his new role, Jackson will be responsible for the distribution of insurance solutions for LSM brokers and clients. He will also develop and manage the execution of the distribution strategy for the company’s target markets worldwide.

Jackson has more than 40 years of industry experience. Prior to joining LSM, he served as global head of carrier management at WTW.

“I am delighted to welcome Andrew to our leadership team,” Hobbs said. “His vast, combined broking and underwriting experience will be an enormous asset to us as we build on our existing relationships with clients and brokers. We look forward to the significant contribution Andrew will make to delivering LSM’s goals in 2024 and beyond.”

Jackson is the latest addition to Liberty Mutual’s roster. In November, the company announced the appointment of Dionne Chisholm as senior underwriting executive for LM Re.
