Ontario-based Mitch Insurance has announced significant changes to its leadership team, with Andrew Duncan (pictured left) stepping in as the new director of sales and lead generation and Scott Logan (pictured right) promoted to director of personal lines service.

Duncan is set to enhance Mitch Insurance’s lead generation channels and expand its sales team, leveraging his background in sales, marketing, customer experience, SEO, data, and analytics. He previously contributed to the brokerage from 2016 to 2018 and rejoined last year.

Logan has been with Mitch Insurance since 2015 and will take charge of the sales and service teams and the life, mortgage and pet insurance departments. He has over three decades of industry experience, including leadership roles within Mitch Insurance and other brokerages.

Commenting on his appointment, Duncan highlighted Mitch’s “long-standing culture of innovation.”

“I feel we have the opportunity to transform the way insurance is purchased and create the industry-leading experiences that Canadian consumers want and deserve,” he said.

Logan echoed these sentiments, stating that Mitch remains committed to “being the broker of choice for our clients.”

Both Duncan and Logan will report directly to CEO Adam Mitchell, who said the brokerage will announce more leadership appointments in the coming months.

He also mentioned the brokerage’s new commercial-focused branch model and its plans for additional initiatives to modernize and expand the business.

“We’re revamping our transformation plans to better adapt to industry changes,” said Mitchell. “Size is becoming increasingly important to remain relevant and compete in this fast-evolving marketplace. We’re amplifying our efforts and fast-tracking our strategy to grow our business and elevate Mitch to new heights.”
