The Co-operators has acquired insurance brokerage Cadieux Beausejour Dupras in Saint Jérôme, Quebec.

A release said that Cadieux Beausejour Dupras’ portfolio includes personal and commercial insurance policies. Any existing insurance coverage under the brokerage will remain in effect for the current policy term following the acquisition.

The brokerage’s customers now have access to The Co-operators’ full range of insurance products, including home, auto, life, travel and commercial, and will receive “first-rate” service from a national insurance co-operative.

“This is exciting news as we remain focused on strengthening our agency distribution system in Quebec,” commented The Co-operators Quebec region vice-president Patrick Décarie.

Décarie also said in a statement that The Co-operators looks forward to serving its new clients, by ensuring they have access to the insurance and investment products they need to achieve financial security.
