Insurance and Risk Management Specialist, One Acre Fund Ontario
One Acre Fund supports smallholder farmers with crop, funeral and health insurance policies. The company is hiring specialists who can work with their insurance associates to govern and improve its insurance program. Tasks include support with planning & coordination of One Acre Fund’s insurance programs as well as helping test improvements. More details here.

Underwriting Assistant, Travelers
Travelers is hiring underwriting assistants in its Toronto, ON location. Assistants will provide account executives with information necessary for them to make sound underwriting decisions. They also provide support that is responsive to the company’s marketing, underwriting, retention and service goals. More details here.

Underwriting Assistant – Marine, Intact
Intact Insurance has an opening for an underwriting assistant in its specialty solutions marine department. Assistants will support underwriters through data processing and cultivating broker relationships. At least one year of insurance related experience is a must for applicants – experience specific to marine insurance is preferred. More details here.

Underwriting Assistant – Commercial, Intact
Intact is also hiring underwriting assistants in Montreal, QC, but for the commercial business line. Assistants will process renewals, endorsements, new business and cancellations within established authority levels. They will also support the underwriter assigned to the fronting business. Applicants must be bilingual, capable of speaking both English and French. More details here.

Senior Commercial Underwriter – Property and Casualty, Gore Mutual
If you have prior experience serving as a commercial underwriter in the Vancouver, BC area, then Gore Mutual may want you. The company is on the lookout for professionals with an understanding of mid-market commercial insurance in the province. Applicants must have at least five years of P&C underwriting experience, and should have (or be willing to obtain) the CIP designation. More details here.
