The results from the second-annual Top 30 Elite Broker list are out and now online – did you make the list?

The September issue of Insurance Business magazine is now online, showcasing the country’s top 30 brokers.

Repeating in the number one and two spots were Danny Sgro and Kevin Stedman of Jones DesLauriers, with Sgro leaving the field far behind by a full $1 million in revenue to his closest competition.

“Repeating as number one is a great honour,” Sgro told Insurance Business. ”This award is very motivating and encourages me to continue to outperform by exceeding my clients’ expectations.”

It was industry veteran Mike O’Grady of O’Grady & Associates who led the field in generating policies, with an astounding 5,172 – and with an impressive book of 2,300 clients.

Of note was Tracy Rogoza of Knight Archer Insurance in Regina, Sask., who although she didn’t make the Top 30 Elite List, received a tip of the cap from the judges with a book of 1,953 clients.

For this Top 30, Insurance Business magazine included the charitable and community work done by brokers – and it was an impressive list of fund raising and community service performed by almost every broker on the list – from number one to 30.
