Youngs Insurance Brokers will be celebrating its 111th anniversary on May 10, 2021 – and to mark the occasion, the company will be holding a charity giveaway contest.

“As we celebrate 111 years of business, we’re humbled by all who played a role in our company’s success. We are grateful for our remarkable and dedicated employees,” said Youngs Insurance Brokers vice president Jason Valleriani. “As we embark on another milestone year of business, we are committed to delivering insurance with integrity and making a difference across our province.”

The broker will give $5,000 to one deserving charitable organization, selected by Youngs Insurance Brokers from a list of nominations. The company is inviting its employees, partners, clients, and the entire Ontario community it is based in to help nominate a worthy recipient.

Submissions for charitable organization nominees for the giveaway are now open on Youngs Insurance Brokers’ website until May 06, 2021.

Youngs Insurance is also asking the community to share news about the campaign on social media, using the tag #111BirthdayWishGiveaway.

“In true Youngs Insurance style we wanted to turn this momentous occasion into an opportunity to give back and share our ‘111th birthday wish’ to a charitable initiative,” said Young Insurance Brokers president Sandy Valleriani.

Giving back to the community has always been part of Youngs Insurance’s values, a release said. The firm’s #GiveBackOntario initiative sees the broker donate up to $100,000 each year to community charities through a similar online submission process.

“Having the ability to directly improve our communities through our #GiveBackOntario program is beyond rewarding. It’s truly a part of our corporate identity and legacy; that’s something I’m incredibly proud of,” Sandy added.
