CRU Group has deployed a team of adjusters in British Columbia to help insurance carriers sort through filed claims.

The announcement comes after the province extended its state of emergency as response and recovery efforts continue due to massive flooding and landslides.

“Our adjusters are deployed assisting the people, businesses, and municipalities impacted by these tragic events,” said CRU Group chief executive David Repinski. “CRU Group is committed to delivering services to those who have experienced loss, not just from these floods but also from the devastating wildfire season, with ease and reassurance during this challenging time.”

The flood aftermath of a weather system called “atmospheric river” has wreaked havoc in BC in recent months, forcing hundreds of residents to evacuate their homes.

“As those in the province shift their focus to recovery and repair, our teams remain available to assist with providing support to flood-stricken communities,” Repinski added. “CRU Group is steadfast in being ready to provide support to our fellow Canadians in need and with our increased presence in Western Canada, we are able to dedicate our resources to these events on a moment’s notice.”
