Allied offers trade credit and political risk insurance in Canada
Insurer brings credit and political risk cover to help keep businesses secure from defaults, insolvency, and political instability

Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, a Switzerland-based insurer, will begin offering its range of Trade Credit and Political Risk insurance products in Canada, under the Global Crisis Management Division. This offering helps protect business clients from loss due to credit risks such as default, insolvency, or bankruptcy of trade partners, including those caused by international political risk.
 
This product group will be headquartered in Allied World’s Toronto office and will be led by Kent Paisley, SVP of Global Crisis Management Division. He has over 25 years of trade credit insurance experience.
