Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company has launched a new digital educational platform designed to support the company’s broker partners.

The new Broker Continuing Education platform provides access to training on-demand. Multiple courses will be featured on the platform, and will be updated constantly. The platform will also be made available on both computers and mobile devices.

Officially launching January 07, 2021, the new platform will be available to all Wawanesa broker partners and their team members.

“The advice and expertise of independent insurance brokers has never been more important,” said Wawanesa vice president of broker distribution Graham Haigh.

According to Haigh, Wawanesa’s previous broker training program delivered nearly 350 training sessions to over 20,000 brokers. But with the new program, the company hopes to further build on its commitment to brokers and “empower them with better digital training tools to provide excellent service to our mutual policyholders,” he added.

“By designing training programs that put brokers first, or working with brokers to improve the digital services we offer policyholders, Wawanesa is all-in on brokers and proud to work together to continuously improve the customer experience,” the vice president said.
