Two Alberta senior account executives have taken the plunge by becoming employee-owners – a move regarded as a sign of commitment by the duo to the city they call home.

Darrin Steinke and Brett Bingham, both Mooney Insurance Senior Account Executives, are now also employee-owners of Mooney Insurance in Red Deer, Alta.

“Darrin and Brett have been part of the Red Deer business community for many years,” says Lee Rogers, president of Rogers Insurance Ltd., “and by becoming employee-owners and investing in their firm, they have demonstrated their commitment to their Mooney Insurance clients and the city they call home.”

Steinke joined Mooney Insurance in 2007, managing an extensive portfolio of diverse clients in central Alberta. Bingham joined Mooney Insurance in 2011 after a 14-year professional golf career that allowed him to travel the world while competing.

“As part of the Mooney commercial insurance team,” says Bruce Rabik, chief operating officer of Rogers, “Darrin and Brett have strong ties to Red Deer and are actively involved in their community.”

Mooney Insurance is part of the Rogers Insurance group of companies. Rogers Insurance is the largest independent brokerage in Alberta, 100 per cent employee-owned and has been named one of Alberta's Top Employers eight times in the past nine years.

With more than 280 employees, the Rogers Insurance group of companies serves Albertans from our offices in Calgary, Red Deer and Ft. McMurray.
