What tools are brokers looking for to succeed? Our last Insurance Business poll split on two very popular needs among readers.

The topic, ‘Broker Tools and driving efficiencies – what do brokers need to succeed?’ revealed there was an equal, overwhelming split among brokers who endorsed ‘A universal portal format’ and ‘Insurer investment in marketing.’

‘Mandatory annual broker training’ may have only received a single vote, but it still did better than ‘Association-recommended BMS,’ which received zero responses.

Our next poll takes a spin in Driverless Car Technology. Although still years away from widespread deployment, actuaries and underwriters are taking a closer look at just how these vehicles will be assessed for insurance.

And we at Insurance Business ask the question: What should be the most important factor when determining premium point for a Driverless Car?
