Sapiens International Corporation has announced a strategic initiative to expand its operations in Canada.

The global insurance software solutions provider is set to reinforce its commitment to the Canadian market, which it has been serving for more than a decade.

The expansion efforts are in response to a growing list of regional clients, such as the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB). It also builds on Sapiens’ existing relationships with the likes of insurance mutual Beneva and life insurer Ivari.

Sapiens plans to bolster its Ontario team by hiring experienced professionals who bring a wealth of global knowledge and technical skills.

Phillip Germain, chief executive of WCB, highlighted the importance of Sapiens’ expansion, saying: “With Sapiens’ strong and growing presence in Canada, their expertise and innovative solutions will enable us to meet the evolving needs of our customers, now and in the future.

“Sapiens provides an optimized, integrated platform, coupled with the right people and a proven track record in successful implementations and ongoing support.”

Roni Al-Dor, president and CEO of Sapiens, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s widening reach in the country and stressed the opportunity that lies ahead.

“Sapiens is proud of its strong local foothold and rapidly growing presence in Canada,” he said. “We are excited to embark on this new chapter of increased expansion and opportunity. With our expanded footprint and augmented capabilities, Sapiens is poised for continued growth and success in the Canadian market.

“We are steadfast in our commitment to deliver the broadest platform of global best practices and enable outcomes that improve the long-term financial health of our Canadian clients. Sapiens is well-positioned to drive positive change and empower even more insurers across Canada to thrive in an increasingly dynamic and competitive landscape.”
