Lycetts Insurance Brokers has added to its credentials – the insurance industry’s gold standard, no less.

The independent broker, headquartered in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has been awarded Chartered Insurance Broker status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Sian Fisher, CII chief executive, said this demonstrates an ongoing commitment to professionalism for the benefit of Lycetts’ customers, partners, and employees.

“Chartered status is recognised around the world as a mark of an organisation committed to standards, professionalism, and trust – and Lycetts can be proud of this,” noted Fisher.

To date, Chartered Insurance Broker status has been awarded to less than 200 brokers nationwide.

“The achievement is testament to our commitment to business integrity and the continuing professional development of our people – a commitment reflected in exceptional levels of customer service, advice, and support provided by our experts,” commented Lycetts CEO Charles Foster (pictured), who described Chartered status as “a powerful endorsement and a valued badge of quality and assurance for clients.”

Lycetts’ commercial division, as well as its specialist animal trade division Cliverton, have already achieved Chartered status. With 15 offices in the UK, the broker specialises in farm and estate insurance.
