Citing its “continued ambitions” for further growth, insurance broker AbbeyAutoline is holding a recruitment drive to fill a senior role, alongside other new job opportunities.
The broker is recruiting for the role of director of commercial in Northern Ireland. Aside from the senior position, it also has other job openings for commercial account executive and broker roles.
“The past year has been a significant one which has seen two of Northern Ireland’s most established local insurance brokers, Abbey Insurance and Autoline Insurance, join forces to become AbbeyAutoline,” said AbbeyAutoline managing director Julie Gibbons.

“Despite the difficulties surrounding doing business throughout COVID-19, our commercial team is continuing to write new business and our focus is to build on this growth and to capitalise on new business opportunities across all markets.”
Gibbons added that the director of commercial “will play a pivotal role in guiding the future growth and development of the company’s commercial portfolio.”
The director of commercial will be responsible for overseeing, building, and developing the company’s client relationships, explained Gibbons. The director will also help identify opportunities for the expansion of the commercial business, while building AbbeyAutoline’s profile in the marketplace.
At present, AbbeyAutoline employs 450 staff across 18 branches.
