BHSI appoints UK country manager

The rapidly growing British operations of Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) will now be overseen by Nick Major, who has been appointed as UK country manager.

Based in the BHSI office in London, Major brings almost three decades of market experience to the specialist insurer, including time spent as UK commercial lines managing director for Aviva and chief underwriting officer for Zurich Insurance in the UK.    

Commenting on the appointment, BHSI UK and Europe head Chris Colahan said: “BHSI has been in high-growth mode in the UK. With Nick’s leadership, we will further strengthen our team and accelerate our momentum in bringing sustainable insurance solutions to market.
