Jaime Swindle (pictured) has formally joined Jensten Group as CEO of product & distribution. She takes up a role the broker first announced in April as part of a restructure built around an explicit target: tripling the premium managed through its underwriting arm within four years.
The April restructure split Jensten into two trading divisions: broking, led by former Gallagher executive Gareth Birch, and product & distribution, created to bring Jensten Underwriting and the group's schemes & affinity businesses under one leader. Swindle's appointment was confirmed at the time, subject to regulatory approval, so today's announcement marks her start date rather than a new hiring decision.
Swindle joins from Geo Underwriting, part of The Ardonagh Group, where she was chief executive for four years. The move takes a senior MGA executive from the stable of a rival consolidator.
The restructure follows Bain Capital's completion of its investment in Jensten in late 2025, taking over from previous backer Livingbridge.
Jensten has continued acquiring throughout 2026, buying Broker One, Coversure Dudley, Mediprotect Healthcare, Northern Counties, Kelvin Smith Insurance and Coversure Midlands. Most recently, it agreed to acquire tech-focused broker Venture Risks Group.
Jensten group chief executive Rob Organ said the restructure reflects the scale of the group's ambition and its commitment to building the right leadership structure.
For brokers and MGA partners connected to Jensten Underwriting or its schemes & affinity businesses, Swindle's start date matters less as news in itself than as a marker. The tripling target she now owns is likely to shape how aggressively Jensten expands its underwriting capacity and scheme partnerships over the coming years.
