“We would welcome the larger insurance community as a whole to join us and build momentum to provide this small item, which will bring such a big impact to the few and the many.”

That is the plea by niche managing general agent Landmark Holding Group, which is calling on its fellow MGAs and insurance intermediaries to support the company’s laptop donation initiative for the benefit of vulnerable children in London Boroughs.

In partnership with The RUSA Foundation, Landmark Holding Group has donated 10 new laptops to the Guildhall. Pictured is chief financial officer Sitki Gelmen, who delivered the units.

Those who wish to contribute may provide new or old laptops, or money to purchase them.

“Acknowledging that there is now even more uncertainty for our young people, the executive board at Landmark Holding Group and the trustees of The RUSA Foundation are working with the Cities of London and Westminster MP Nickie Aiken, the Department of Children’s Services, City of London, and Larne Football Club to provide laptops for the most disadvantaged,” stated the MGA.

“This initiative will help children keep up with their schoolwork and enable them to continue their learning and education at home. Education and access to learning is vital for children to have the opportunity to reach their potential.”

Coordinating the donations can be done through Gelmen or Landmark Holding Group chief executive Ross Lazaroo-Hood, both of whom are co-founders and trustees of the foundation.
