Insurance veteran Paul Trivett, who spent more than 26 years at RSA, is taking on a new post come February.

Appointed as head of key accounts at British Engineering Services, Trivett brings expertise from previous underwriting and portfolio management roles. Most recently he served as RSA’s e-trading director.

“He has extensive experience across all sectors of UK business and we’re excited that he is joining our fantastic team,” noted British Engineering Services chief commercial officer Gareth Hilton, who described Trivett’s arrival as “a real sign of our ongoing success and the brilliant future we have ahead of us.”

The key hire succeeds Dave Vaughan, who has moved into a new executive team role within the testing, inspections, and certification company.
