After coming to life in 2022, Arc Legal Group has now brought in a chief operating officer in the form of Jason Logan (pictured).

“Following the consolidation of the wider Arc Legal Group business last year, the time is right to strengthen our leadership team, giving dedicated focus to these vital functions,” said chief executive Frank O’Malley, lifting the lid on the appointment.

“Jason has proven experience in the successful transformation and growth of other leaders in the insurance market, and I’m confident that he’ll bring that focus and dedication to Arc Legal as we continue to cement our position as the go-to legal expenses insurance and ancillary provider in the UK.”

Arc Legal Group was formed by combining Arc Legal Assistance with Legal Insurance Management and AmTrust Underwriting Limited. Part of the AmTrust Financial Group, the business writes over £70 million in net written premiums and manages more than 23 million ancillary insurance policies.

“I’m excited to join the Arc Legal team at this time,” commented Logan, who will be in charge of all internal functions spanning finance operations, IT, facilities, and human resources. “The business has built a formidable reputation for transforming legal expenses insurance, bringing innovation to the customer journey, and developing a broad suite of products backed by technical expertise.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the next stage in the business’s journey, using my experience and knowledge to strengthen Arc Legal’s core business functions.”

Logan’s credentials include time spent as change director at Gallagher and as Provident Financial Group’s transformation integration director. His more than three decades of financial services experience also features a financial services management consultancy business that worked with the likes of QBE.

Meanwhile, business analyst Aisosa Egonmwan, who came on board this month, will be reporting to the new COO.
