Acrisure UK has announced an agreement with ESET, a global cybersecurity provider, combining Acrisure's cyber insurance capabilities with ESET's cybersecurity products and services.
The arrangement is designed to give Acrisure's clients access to a broader range of support spanning resilience-building, risk management and incident response.
Acrisure UK's cyber insurance specialists work across a range of sectors, providing tailored solutions addressing the financial and operational impact of cyber incidents, drawing on the team's insurer relationships to help clients secure appropritate protection. ESET's contribution centres on its cloud-first ESET PROTECT platform, offering threat prevention, detection and response capabilities, alongside 24/7 managed detection and response services that combine AI with human expertise for proactive threat hunting without requiring clients to maintain in-house security specialists.
This is not Acrisure's first move to link cyber insurance more closely with technical security capability. The group has previously formed Acrisure Cyber Services, a dedicated division combining risk assessments, insurance and data recovery support for clients, and separately launched a London-based cyber reinsurance division through Acrisure Re in partnership with cyber risk modeller Kovrr.
Read together, the ESET partnership extends the same underlying logic, that cyber insurance works best paired with genuine technical capability, down to the retail broking level in the UK specifically.

For clients, the practical value depends on how deeply the two sides of the offering are actually integrated in practice, whether ESET's threat intelligence genuinely informs how Acrisure's team assesses and prices a client's risk, or whether this functions more as a referral arrangement giving policyholders a discounted route to security tools alongside their cover.
Given Acrisure's now multi-layered cyber strategy, spanning retail broking, a dedicated cyber services division and its own reinsurance capacity through Kovrr, the group has more infrastructure than most brokers to make that integration genuinely substantive rather than a marketing exercise.
