As it looks to build its momentum as an up-and-coming telematics insurer, young firm ingenie has brought in a well-established industry name as its new CEO.

Selim Cavanagh has built a strong reputation in the sector as an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and having previously been commercial director at Experian where he focused on growth and technology developments with the UK’s largest insurers. In addition, he spent seven years at AXA, culminating with a role as distribution director of personal lines intermediary – and now he is set to attempt to drive future growth at ingenie having made the move from LexisNexis Risk Solutions where his roles included VP of telematics, motor insurance, and MD of the Wunelli telematics business unit.

“I am excited to be joining such a renowned business in the fast-growing telematics market and I look forward to getting to know the team and leading the business to further success,” he said.

Ingenie consists of an international telematics provider and a young driver insurance specialist.
