Damian Baxter, who has more than 12 years of insurance sales and software experience, has moved from Open GI to be in charge of new business development at insurtech HUGHUB.
The key appointment bolsters HUGHUB’s senior team, as Baxter will lead sales within the London-based firm, particularly in the broker, managing general agent, and insurer sector.
“I am hugely excited about HUGHUB's technology and its ability to address the ‘customer expectation’ gap our industry has, with its foundations based on silo-ed legacy technology,” said Baxter. “The opportunity for those businesses who get their customer interaction right, to significantly impact business performance is huge, and I see our HUGHUB providing the best solution.”
The technology, which will be showcased at BIBA 2018, provides insurance retailers with a single-view, customer-centric platform designed to increase operating efficiencies and enable conversion growth.
