Roger Ware
Genesee

Since 1998, Roger Ware has served as president and CEO of Genesee. He began his career as a commercial underwriter at Fireman’s Fund in 1982 and has since worked with several insurance carriers, focusing on large national casualty products. Prior to joining Genesee, he was regional VP of Crum & Forster’s Atlanta region.

When Ware became CEO of Genesee, the company was a small MGA focused on the state of Georgia and primarily writing transportation risks. Today, Genesee is a national company with MGA and wholesale offerings for transportation, garage, general liability and construction, professional liability, specialty property, and program products. Under Ware’s leadership, Genesee has been named a Five-Star MGA by IBA for three consecutive years. In 2018, Genesee became part of JenCap Holdings, placing the company among the top brokers in the US.

Outside of Genesee, Ware served as president of AAMGA in 2015 and is currently a member of the board of trustees of West Chester University.
