MGA and national wholesale insurance brokerage Worldwide Facilities has appointed a new senior vice-president for its Chicago office.

The company has chosen Brad Verret as its newest SVP, specializing in transportation.

Verret was previously with CRC, where he began his insurance career in 2003 when he joined the company’s Dallas operations. He later moved to CRC Houston in 2010, and then to Austin to help CRC open a new branch in 2015. Verret specializes in the transportation space, particularly in excess truck business.

“Brad is viewed as an industry expert in the transportation market and we are very happy to have someone with his ability and professionalism join our growing transportation practice,” said Worldwide Facilities president Ronald Austin.

Last month, Worldwide Facilities hired George Vogle to serve as senior vice-president specializing in professional liability. Vogle is based in the company’s Atlanta location.
