Acrisiure announces Alaska USA Insurance Brokers acquisition

Company to change name but maintain employees after buy-out

Acrisiure LLC has announced it is buying Alaska USA Insurance Brokers’ commercial insurance and employee benefits accounts.

“As a result of this transaction, commercial insurance clients will benefit from broader industry experience, access to a greater variety of carriers, and the availability of valuable services such as loss mitigation and risk management,” stated Bill Eckhardt, chairman of Alaska USA Insurance Brokers. 
 
The company’s name will change to “Insurance Brokers of Alaska” and it will maintain its personal lines operations.

All current staff will be retained at the same location.

“The entire infrastructure that currently supports commercial insurance clients, including all employees and office locations, will be transferred to Insurance Brokers of Alaska, an Acrisure agency partner,” said Tim Maudsley, who will serve as president of Insurance Brokers of Alaska.
 
Acrisure LLC has 2,700 employees working out of 100 agencies in 26 states making it the 13th largest insurance brokerage.
