Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) has announced the appointment of John Gambale as regional head of distribution, North America, large corporate. The appointment is part of a reorganization of the company’s distribution team in North America to support large corporate business expansion. Gambale will be based in New York and will report to Bill Scaldaferri, CEO and president of AGCS North America. Rani Christie, formerly regional head of distribution, sales and marketing for North America, will lead the middle market division.
Gambale joins AGCS from AIG, where he held various leadership roles over the past 23 years, most recently serving as president of the company’s Northeast Zone.
