Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) – the specialist corporate insurance unit of Allianz Group – has promoted two executives to support its North American operations.

Katie Fioretti has been promoted to regional head of management liability commercial (MLC) for AGCS North America financial lines. Based in New York, Fioretti will oversee management liability lines, such as D&O, EPL, fiduciary and crime for all public, private, and non-profit commercial entities in North America.

Fioretti has 18 years of underwriting experience in the commercial and financial institution sectors. Joining Allianz in 2015, she previously held various underwriting and management roles in companies such as Arch Insurance Group and Hartford Financial Products. She received her Bachelor of science degree in business administration from Monmouth University.

Alessandro Carriglio will assume the roles of deputy MLC for AGCS North America financial lines, as well as regional head of AGCS South America financial lines – he will relocate to New York as part of his additional responsibilities. Carriglio was most recently the global deputy head of MLC in financial lines CUO, based in Munich. Before that, he was financial lines MLC manager for Allianz’s Milan location. He has a degree in business administration from Bocconi University in Milan and a degree in management of insurance companies and social security from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan.

Both Fioretti and Carriglio will report to AGCS North America regional head of financial lines Laura Coppola.
